Import Tuscan S6 to Germany
Discussion
at the moment i found only 3 Tuscan in Germany
LHD 65000 EUR and 69000 EUR
RHD 43000 EUR see the Link www.autoscout24.de/home/index/detail.asp?ts=6506483&id=zk2dd3dfdpp&redir=1
in the Classifieds here I found some nice cars for 30000 EUR, at ebay.co.uk some cars under 25000 EUR but i think ebay is not the way for a newbie to buy a tuscan ;-)
bye Andre

at the moment i collect only some information what modifications needed and what it cost. Before I buy a car i must sell the elise and check who can services TVR.
OS stands for Osnabrück not Oschersleben
the 63000 an 69000EUR are for Cars from 2003 with low km >3000
In Hagen and Siegen is TVR Germany but they have no Tuscans MK 1 only new cars.

Hi - this may help or may not. TVR do a diplomatic and military sales service (number from the Blackpool) that supply TAX free cars overseas. certainly I know of quite a few in Germany who have them regularly serviced there so there must be some kind of franchise out there.
Might be a good place to start to source a good car?

Anton Feldmann in Osnabruck has worked on a few TVRs, including the Tuscan. Harald Gehrke in Hagen near Dortmund is the official dealer and also not that far away. Give Christof Flugel there a call as he deals with sales. He should be able to buy your Elise and he can source a cheaper RHD Tuscan through TVR MADS or one of the other dealers. Or sell your Elise (try advertising it on Pistonheads?) and deal direct with TVR MADS or one of the other UK dealers.
You need to adjust the front lights (easy) and you need to switch the reverse and fog light at the back (bit of wiring and regluing of carpet and rebonding of lens). Then a TUV test, they might want paperwork that TVR MADS or Harald Gehrke can supply, then register it.

thx for the replies here and by email. I know now which to be done before buy one.
I meet my friend who serviced my elise at the weekend in Zaandvoort and he try to arrange a testdrive in the next weeks. I think i must drive one before i can sell my elise.
I am at the moment not sure if a tuscan is the right car. I ve read the treads about the engineproblems and i ll be sure if i buy one that the engine make no trouble for the next years. From the elise i don´t know problems like this, nothing brake down in three years of hard driving. I like Trackdays , Nürburgring and highspeed at the Autobahn, the Elise has no problems with that (only that it cant go over 120:-), but more threads i read here, more trust in a Tuscan lose. At the otherside the car looks so stunning, sounds so incredible and the power must be impressive, it is for me at the moment the only acceptable increase for a good upgraded Elise...
