It is soooo hard
Discussion
To tell the genuine seeker of knowledge from the Troll who knows a good place to wind up the residents.
There are around 4 (or maybe 5 with this one) threads running simultaneously at the moment with everyone shouting to be heard. And that is the problem. I have twice requested that there should be a seperate SP6 engine forum. All the flack is continuously thrown at the Tuscan. Fine when it was the only model with that engine but as it is, and has been for 3yrs spread amongst all the current cars this no longer applies.
Each model apart from the Tuscan has its own space but we are forever having to either explain or defend the engine. Few if any potential buyers come on here to ask about anything other than the sodding engine reliability.
And this is why so many potential owners go away thinking we are being rude, unhelpful or whatever. There are only so many times you can repeat the same message.
On both occassions I have requested a seperate SP6 forum, I have been flamed, but as far as I can see it is a very important concern and should be treated as an individual issue.
We owners want to talk about our joy or tears of ownership, not continually about the SP6.
This is, as far as I can see the only forum where so many threads end up in arguement and discontent, and this has being going on and on for the two and a half years I have been on here and probably before.
Once again I request a seperate engine forum....

Tis a good theory but:
1) Visiting the Tuscan forum & not talking SP6 is about as likely as going to a brewery & not talking beer
2) The SP6 forum would quickly become a depressing place
3) I wonder how long the SP6 has to run?
1) Of course I agree the SP6 should still be part and parcel of our usual banter, but not the never ending "what if it goes wrong" and "why does it go wrong" diatribe likened to the "Mobius Continuum".
2) Could the forum be any more depressing than it is getting now? I get a feeling of up and coming joy and relief!!
3) Hopefully the SP6 will grow from strength to strength. I think it is a fantastic achievement which had its troubles and should now be going from strength to strength.
now I'm talking about it again. Doh!!!!! Di
