While checking intermittent front indicator found bulb/bayonet had fallen into the indicator housing, according to the handbook the housing un-screws anyone know which way this should turn to come undone?

Can't really help, but one of the basic laws of engineering is, it would be a standard thread i.e. anti clockwise to undo, the only time you would use a left hand thread is to counteract clockwise rotation! i.e. grinding wheels etc.

Thanks Al you would think so, but not sure if back un-screws from the front or the other way around it's just so akward to even get them!!

It was the front, although it is now sorted by dealer with use of an oil filter strap wrench to slacken off the rear housing, there must have been some sealant on the threads making it impossible to undo by hand. The housing needed replacing as the bulb holder had come adrift from it.
