How roomy are Tuscan II's? I'm v.tall at 6'7" and of average build.

It's not easy for me to nip down to a TVR dealer and have a sit in one so any info on this from you fine chaps would be very welcome.

I'm itching to buy one and join the ranks!!

Cheers

Hi,

To be honest, I bought one without seeing one, but I knew Peter Wheeler was quite tall so ....

Statistics: 1.91 m / 92 kg / size 56

Seat al the way down and throttle plate as far away as possible. (dealer adjustment)

No problem

Greetings

The only problem you might have with the Tuscan II is the pod under the steering column.
I am only 6'3" but struggled getting in and out with my knees having problems getting under the pod.
The Tuscan 1 was no problem as there isn't a pod under the steering column. Hence, I bought one.
Headroom is excellent in both versions once you are in. The doors do not open very wide so best check access in and out if you are a big fellah and long in the body. I am not exactly in my first flush of youth but I get in and out with no problems.
The Tuscan is a superb car - hope you join the world of Tuscan ownership soon - there is no experience like it.

I also can't comment on the Tuscan 2, but on the original Tuscan I have no probs at 6'6. I usually remove the centre seat cushion to drop me down a bit though and that makes it more comfy.

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks for the info guys. I've decided to hire a Tuscan II for a few weeks and go from there.

In light of the recent Al Melling/Autocraft talk, I think it wise to wait and see what happens with the S6 before I sign on the dotted line.

I'm 6ft 2in and find it fine. If you hire one, you WILL want to order one, so save yourself the money and use it for the deposit! Go on, you know you want too!

You're right...my heart will say "order one now" but after some thought my head has other ideas.

I don't spend enough time at home to make it a worthwhile purchase (it would sit gathering dust for 10 months of the year...hardly ideal). Renting is the way forward for me at the moment; Pricey but hassle free.

I'll make it an end of contract bonus for myself instead!!! (and hopefully they'll have fixed the engine by then too)
