carpet adhesive

Hello again,another question for all of you,after all my pulling away of carpets for speaker upgrading and just general carpets falling away,what kind of adhesive do you all use to stick it back, is it a spray or liquid and are there any prefered brands.

Hi Greg,
depends where you need to stick back. Best for large areas is the standard spray contact adesive. That's what they use in the first place B&Q did sell it failing that screwfix. Smaller areas that you would not want to miss with the can, although fairly directional, would be your standard glue sniffers contact adesive in a can. If you don't like the smell then just use a glue gun but don't pull any excess off that squidges out until it's cold.
