Tony,

Just to express my appreciation for organising the Tuscaneers weekend. I made it 17 Tuscans in our private parking area at Gaydon, but I think the final number was closer to 20. Not bad considering it was peak holiday time.

It was really good to meet everyone and put faces to names. Nice to have the opportunity to talk 'pure Tuscan', swap notes and stories on the highs and (not so many) lows of ownership. Talking of which, hope you get your clutch problem sorted out and give the garage the appropriate ticking off for only doing 99% of a job (by the sound of it).

I headed off for a pub tea with the wife in the evening, and after a bottle of wine, could barely keep my eyes open and was, I think, asleep by 10.00pm. The early start caught up on me.

Hope everyone else had a good time and also enjoyed the Griff Growl. Was really interesting to meet Steve Heath there and learn about some little TVR mods he has been working on that will also be done for the Tuscan. Quite an honour to meet the Great Man himself. The trade stands were very good.

Morning Everyone,

Yes it was certainly excellent seeing all those Tuscans together. I think there was 4 in the swordish colours, was there a discount at the factory for this colour :O))). Only joking guys the cars looked ace, infact everyones did.

And they all sound ace i think everyone there had CCC fitted, what a difference they make :O). if you havent got them, get them and you'll wonder why you didnt have them earlier.

Any way good to put some faces to names...

Not quite all, mine still has the nornal cans. It did have replacement cans for a while but they were a little wearing on the ears for 600 mile round trips so I reverted to the normal ones.

And thanks from here too Tony. Thanks for all the organisation. Such a shame you never got to see the museum yourself after all that planning.

Good to meet you all. Until the next time !

Aw Tony...

What a bummer!!!

Well - you may or may not be delighted to know that a great time was had by all - I for one had a wail of a time and as a 'newbie' - it was a great relief to find that all the guys I met are as mad about their P.A.J. as I am! (Phew! One is not alone...)

Anyway - thank you so much again and I look forward to meeting you when you're all better!

Lee

P.S. Martin - I made it home after the somewhat 'erratic' overtaking manoeuvres! Ooops!

Many thanks Tony for all the organising! You even put on an extra run out just for me between Gaydon and the A34 And how you got the weather to be so good I'll never know. I forgot to pack by suncream so I'm a little red now. It was great to put a few more faces to names. And to hear Alan's car without any back-boxes

Here's to the next one....

Cheers,

Andy.

Thanks Tony for your hard work in organising the day, its just a pity you didnt get to the museum, hope you get your car sorted quickly. I enjoyed meeting everyone and chatting about tuscans. It was good to drive to the Griff growl and also see the wedges arrive. Look forward to the next one.

Really gutted i couldn't go, but it looks as though you all enjoyed yourselves. TUSCAN BEV, quick question. What colour is your car, 'cos mine's the same but in my handbook it just says Starmist Blue. But IIRC, Starmist is a style of paint, i.e. Pearl, Candy or Chameleon, and not an actual colour. I think its GTS Blue, or possibly Viper Blue. Can you shed any light on this please? Thanks in advance.

I was sorry to hear about your clutch problems, i hope its all sorted now.
Driving from Cherwell Valley to Gaydon in a convoy of about 15 Tuscans was one great feeling and one AMAZING sight.
Here's to the next one.....

Correct !

Mine is GTS Viper Blue.
I have a friend who has Starmist Blue and it's a fraction paler than GTS Viper Blue.

I don't think the GTS or the Viper are ever separated as colours. i.e. they are one and the same.

Thanks for all the kind posts every one, i`m glad you enjoyed it, the weekend for me was full of highs and lows, i could be on here all night boring you to death with them But heres a couple

It was a shame the weekend wasn`t that well supported, i spoke to a few of you regarding this and we felt it catered for all tastes, so
I had a couple of little things up my sleeve for Gaydon..........but it wasn`t to be
The turn out for Sunday at Santa Pod was embarrassing
5 Tuscan`s came and went during the day,(well done to Simon with a 12.8sec run i for one have not seen a better time for any standard Tuscan? I thought the Griff boys where coming over to show us how it was done ) With the max of 3 cars at any one timeThe hard core few waited around to point any one to the dedicated parking area
Any way not to worry, there is always next year
In true awarding winning tradition Danny and myself would like to thank every one who made our Tuscanless weekend a mild success.Especially
Ian and Wendy,
Andy,
Dr Simon,
Roger Hulks (nice to meet you Roge.)
And finally Alan and Mike Stamp for convincing me not to jump in the recovery truck and going home,
his "plan A-Z " attitude, and being my taxi for most of the weekend that car is the loudest Tiv out there i don`t care what anyone says
See you all soon
Tony

I was swerved from attending Santa Pod in the interests of good marital relations in the end - so my apologies for not going there.

I think a Tuscan 'autotest' on the Gaydon car parks would have been interesting! (Not so much a test, more an excuse to do power slides and donuts off of the public road!!!!!!!!!!!). I'm sure the public would have enjoyed that. I would have loved it

Sorry I missed you on Saturday but had to shoot off to Germany on business after Gaydon and just got back.
Thanks for organising the day - it is a great venue for a gathering and although the turnout was not huge, I am sure it will grow in the future.
Sorry to hear about your troubles - hope you kicked some "Megane".
