In the past 3 weeks I have had to use my "reliable" Tuscan to help when 3 other not so reliable new cars broke down.
1/. My company car Honda Accord CTDI (12 months old) had to have a replacement turbo & recall work completed.
2/. A colleagues 2 month old VW Golf broke down on the way to work in the same week so I had to go & pick him up while his car was towed away to be sorted.(faulty alternator)
3/. Another colleague stopped for a paper on way to work & his car wouldn't start again ( 3 month old Seat Leon Cupra) so I had to go & give him a jump start turns out his battery has collapsed whatever that means.

Unfortunately despite all this I still can't persuade my company to add the Tuscan to the company car list!!

In case your wondering & before I get the sarcastic tempting fate e-mails I have had the car 6 months & already completed 6000 miles. The car now has 16k on the clock & yes I am aware that it could go pop but in the meantime i'm going to continue to enjoy it & treat it with the respect & care it deserves (ie not over 2500 rpm until oil temp is over 55 deg) This car is truly fantastic & makes me smile whenever I drive it.

Thanks
Howard.

37 months and 20,000 Tuscan miles and they've never let me down. Which is more than I can say for various Jags, Range Rovers, Mercs etc.....
