Replacement HID Hella 90mm headlight units for Mk.1 Tuscan

The only replacement I can see is on the Motaclan website.
It's priced at nearly £500 with VAT.
The silvering on the reflector is definitely going on my O/S main beam unit - - maybe a MOT fail in the future?
Does anyone have a source for these at a better price? I've tried Hella UK, but no luck and the only (part?) number I can see is the one on the ballast resistor.

It would be much cheaper to fit replacement standard units and led bulbs if you're not fixed on originality. The standard units are about 40 quid each as I've just replaced all mine.
Looking at the pictures of the hid units, it looks like you may be able to buy standard ones and swap the rear half of the units as they screw together.

The part numbers for 'standard' lights are in the parts wiki - maybe find a supplier of those and ask them if they do a HID equivalent?

If You are not limited to original lights you could also fit 90mm Hella LED lights which are available in several versions. There are always offers (including on Amazon) where individual headlights are available for around 100. I did that for another car (Smart Roadster). It also fits into the T350.
