Alarmed..Help

Tricky one this.... Had a few problems lately with the key fob on my Tuscan. Like a fool decided to sort it out after I came back from holiday (this week) Unfortunately, on return the Tuscan battery was dead. To compound the problem the charger leads were in the boot! Anyway took the wheel off and charged the battery and you've guessed it.... it then set the alarm off! B###dy fob won't work at all now.

Question; How the hell do I resolve it? Can’t do anything without it going off!!

Have you tried new batteries in the fob?

I had a similar problem last week.

My battery was flat and I mean TOTALLY flat. Instead of charging I thought I should get a new battery as I had a feeling that the current one was on the way out.
When I connected the new battery up the alarm went of, evwn when I disconected the battery the alarm was still going of althought slightly quieter.I reconnected the battery and grabbed my keys and when I pressed the key fob the alarm stopped. I quickly started the car put wheel on and went for a spin.

Everything is okay now I guess It's your key -fob thats not working so not switching of alarm. I guess the previous post is the best advise as to gettting it fixed or replaced.

Do you have a spare key and fob!!you should get 2 with the car .

Just when I though things could not get any worse!!! My Tuscan is on the drive at home , front wheel off where (I have been charging the battery) under a car cover.....2.10am the kin alarm went off and off and off Ahhhhhh. Not a thing I could do! God those things are loud. If my neighbours havent set fire to it today I will!
