Driven many others?
Discussion
In a lucky five minutes yesterday somebody gave me the keys to their Tuscan.
It was another Red Rose (supposedly rebuilt to 400-plus-ahem-a-bit bhp), and because of an unfortunate incident when it was parked a few years ago had been physically rebuilt too at a long holiday in Blackpool. This was all in about 2003, IIRC.
Anyway, I was amazed at the differences. I mean it was the same... ...just so different to drive (apparently it has a different cam shaft or chain or something, but otherwise it's the "same" car as mine!). And well screwed together or what! (I was still more than happy to jump back into mine btw!)
Now, I hadn't driven another Tuscan since a friend let me loose in 2002 and a demonstrator from RG in 2003. I guess unless you're a dealer you don't get to drive other examples very often. And, reminds me that so often things like suspension failures or whatever can creep up and you don't really notice.
Any other experiences?
