does anyone out their no were to buy carlube triple r 0w-40 or can i use moble 1 in my tuscan s

My own preference is for 15W 50 Mobil 1 semi synthetic. But as you will see there are many different opinions.

I actually saw this for sale in B&Q (yes the DIY place). Although i have been advised its Cr#p (although that was by the dealer, who probably got some cheap Mobil/Castrol at the time).

5/40 Silkolene Pro-R is the way to go.......

This is a real personal one - engine oil.
My car ran on the factory Mobil 0-40 for all it's life till the last service when the local TVR dealer used Castrol Magnatec semi-synthetic 10-40 in it without consulting me first.
I was pretty pissed off since now the system is contaminated.
Anyway, it's laid up over the winter now and I have drained the entire system and am planning to use Castrol RS 10-60 fully synthetic as it seems to cover all the bases with such a wide temperature range. My problem is that I live in sunny N-E Scotland where we get minor daily changes in temperature..........
