Hi all

I only need five or so more Pistonheaders to send in high quality shots of their cars to be enough to consider for the calendar.

Email your pics, ready to publish (i.e. no fiddling with photshop etc required) to me at oigimme@yahoo.co.uk

Thanks to those who have sent in so far. Please let me know if you want captions or any other taglines to go with your pics (20 words or so).

Maybe we'll have our own calendar yet.. we do after all ave the most photogenic cars of all time.

Many thanks to all who have sent stuff in. Am trying to extract a couple more decent photos from people because the printers are tellning me that although they might look good on a screen, they are not high-res enough for a high quality paper print.

The other option would be to go for a year planner thing with pictures dotted around it.

What do people think?

BTW address to send pics is oigimme@yahoo.co.uk

Cheers muchachos

I'd prefer a big calendar, although if it proves to be a ball ache then I'd certainly be happy with a big year planner

Hi all

Just a little note to let you humbly know of my looming failure in this little project. So close, but etc etc.

Not bad for something I only started in November, but I clearly didn't know enough about print works etc. In fact, I knew nothing at all.

Have got enough pictures, but-
-minimum print run is too expensive for me to put up cash on my own for.
- too many pics are of inadequate resolution, saturation, contrast etc to print, aaccording to the printers.
- January is rushing past at about two minutes per minute, it seems.

Nevermind eh? A valliant effort.

Will keep the address open- oigimme@yahoo.co.uk Please send high res pics (about a5 megapixel camera on full resolution quality is about what I can understand from the gobbledegook) to me at your leisure- Next year, Gadget, next year!!.

No worries Worth a go anyway, but I know this type of thing is a lot harder to organise than sticking a few pics together.

A pal of mine is a graphic designer actually - he might be able to do something?

Why not be different and do an April to March calendar. Its only (current) convention to to Jan to Dec !

Might be worth a quick chat with the guys at www.fotoboat.com. They take professional pictures at sailing events and this year produced some class calendars, and I belive that some of the classes would have sold no more than about 20 calendars. I've got one of the Cherub ones and it's pretty groovy! (Mines the yellow one...)

Hi - have you figured your problem out yet!

If not, I would be willing to have a go at printing out the calendar if you forward to me the pictures as I have a colour printer at work (not quite photo quality). I have done calendars in the past for myself. These are held together with ringbinders that you hang up. Its better than nothing and will only cost you the price of postage.

Put me down for one, please!

And I'll submit a photo for the '07 calendar once my S 'verte has arrived in March!

And another thing - is it just me, or does everybody agree that £20 for a TVRCC calendar is a bit ott?
