Well I'm back again. Went and bought a TVR Tuscan S after a short daliance with a 911 Turbo. Everytime I buy another car (other than a TVR) I only last a few months before I have to go back to TVR. This is my third TVR and you just can't beat em for that visceral 'alive' feeling they always give.

Don't get me wrong the Porsche was awesomely fast, but lacked something in the emotion dept. Same with the Lotus I had between the last two TVR Griffs, nice car, but simply not a TVR.

On a separate question has anyone Ipod'd their Tuscan S (DAB) 2003 model and if so how did they go about it? The previous posts whilst useful don't give me enough detail.

Richard,

Out of interest, which 911 was it you tried (993, 996......)

I have to say, I am currently thinking of selling my tuscan, but everything else I drive bores the pants off me.

964 Turbo 2 withh 400+bhp, nice in the midrange and top end but needed punting along a bit. Silly gearing though (try 87mph in second)

Suggest you try the 993 Turbo as that's closest to TVR as it's still a bit raw and is effing fast! The newer ones are very nice, but very civilised and lack the seat of your pants feel that you get with a TVR.

Gotcha........... porkers are nice but the 964 and indeed 993 are 'old' cars now.........my first car was an E reg Vauxhall Nova, and that had better interior styling than either of the above!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi. I've bought pioneer bluetooth head unit for tucsan2 . works geat for mobile phone but also acquired an ipod aux connector with it. Havent yet installed. but this seems way to go. this involves permanent lead from back of head unit. i think you can get some that just plug into front fascia.
