Indicator permanetly on

The left-hand indicator lamps (front and rear) are both permanently on (steady not flashing and ignition on or off), with the ignition on the audible warning is permanently sounding. Right-hand indicator works fine. When the hazard lights are activated all four lamps light up in a steady state. I am guessing that a relay is playing up somewhere or there is a bad earth somewhere. Anyone have any idea where the relay may be or any other ideas as what to check?

I guess the relay will be one of the ones on the fuse panel. There's a diagram in the hand book.
