Finally got my Tuscan but no tools in the boot, just a can of tyre mouse. Should there be a wheel brace or a tool to get the bonnet open etc with it?

I just got a couple of cans of tyre weld with mine - you don't get a jack, wheelbrace etc since there's no requirement to take the wheels off while you're out and about if you don't have a spare! The bonnet just needs something like a 13mm spanner.

Mine has a TVR badged tool kit in a plastic carry case with spare bulbs, tape, pliers, allun keys, torch etc etc (02 Tuscan S). Think I'll still be bug*&%d if the donk goes bang though!!! (unless the tape is really good )

Don't forget the carefully laid out "empty spce" in the Tuscan tool kit!

all the tools in their sponge holes, and that tantalizing empty space

Carefully laid out space allows the bulbs to fit in.

In answer to the original question, they could have been kept by owners moving on to another Tiv.
Does anyone know where you can get a replacement torch of the same type?Mine has rotted internals beyond use,due to the batterys corroding.Cheers,Mike

Aha! I have been thinking for the last 18 months that I have been missing a small square tool of some kind (maybe a tape measure for measuring skid marks!). It's not just me then.

Ahh, thanks for that, one mystery solved. I've spent the last 18 months getting my fingers trapped whilst trying to get the rear catches open!
Now I just have to wait for the Tuscan to come back from the dealers before I try opening the bonnet with the correct tool.
