Door not opening?
Discussion
Can you here the solenoid, a sort of clicking/whoosing sound from the door pillar when you press the button? If not it could be the Solenoid, if you can hear it try pulling the door at the same time, it might be a little bit stuck. The solenoids are Ford items with a TVR modified bracket/arm I got one from www.douglasvalley.co.uk for my boot.
Tragically I can hear bugger all, no click or whooshing sound. The window winds down then silence - susepct it's a switch somewhere than may need replacing. I'll check again though - thanks for the tip. Dealer is quoting a couple of hours work to take door apart plus kit which'll no doubt end up being over £400 inc tax - outrageous...

Will give it a go tonight - cheers for the tip! (and solenoid location hint...)
The panel is only held in place by the door/rear window rubbers, if you have speakers in the panel don`t forget to disconnect the wires, the panel is quite fexible so don`t be scared of man handling it. Good luck

Well the solenoid isn`t in the door so they will be looking for a long time
I got my boot solenoid working again for a couple of months by sticking a direct 12v to the solenoid easy to do, take off the rear panel where the seat belt is to access it.
