Help needed....has anyone changed a battery on a Mk2 Tuscan?

Mine is as dead as the proverbial Dodo and I was wondering if it is something a normal civilian can do or whether I need the services of a garage - if anyone has any experience of this their comments would be useful.

Many thanks

Hi Seymour,
Get yourself to Halfords and get an Accumate. Make sure you get one with a cigar lighter accessory. Plug it in to the gigar lighter socket and within a few hours your battery should be fine again.
Excellant bit of kit.

Hi Di,

The battery won't take a charge and needs replacing (AA man has come and given it it's last rights).

I WILL be getting a trickle charger soon though!!!

I assume it's in the same place as a Mk1? If so then it's a fairly straight forward job. Jack up passenger side front and remove wheel. Battery is accessible through a panel on rear of wheel arch.
