Thanks FMC,

no, its not Red Glow Pearl but Canyon Red - a new Lotus colour. They look similar but when they're side by side you notice the difference. Canyon Red is slightly deeper and to my mind slightly richer. As of 2 weeks ago this was the first and only TVR in this colour.

Several events already planned for the summer

Mmmm, currently looking at flogging my Chim for a new Tuscan & I have to say that's one of the nicest colour combinations i've seen.

But then as my Chim's BMW Canyon Red, i would think that

Nick, here's a couple of shots of the interior taken a couple of weeks ago.

Despite how it may appear the interior is mainly black (leather, carpet and hood lining) with some areas of red and carbon effect to relieve it.

Lovely looking car. Picked mine up this Saturday and still smiling Moonraker Black with full black and portland leather, what a car, can't wait to get it run in!! Planning a quick trip to Tuscany, hopefully via the Stelvio Pass then return via west coast of Italy, Cinque Terre, Liguria up through Monaco then home.

No we're away in the New Forest this weekend (that should just about complete the running in) but we will be at the April one as Pauline is making that a Tuscan Convertible and Sagaris meet.

Nice one, there must be a thing about changing from yellow to red this season. My yellow chim is going for a Red Glow convert very similiar to yours, red/black interior including red leather roll bars. One or two questions...were kick plates installed from the factory? and have you done anything about a cover for the roof when stored in the boot?

Nice colour combo.

Just been to the factory this afternoon, there is one very similar on the production line, looks the dogs £$%^&*.

Keith,

yes, kick plates were fitted as standard and no, we haven't bothered enquiring about a cover for the hood. Because of the way it sits in the boot I don't think it will get knocked the same way as Griff and Chimaera hoods did. Also its so damn tight to get it into the boot I'm not sure it would fit if it was in a large bag!

Sounds like yours may have been spotted in the factory?

beautiful Simon - really nice colours... When did you order it? I ordered mine on new year's eve, and apparently it is now finished at the factory, but waiting for a transporter to take it down to the TVR centre in Barnet...

I never realised how impatient I was until now!! I just can't wait!!!

My God, that is fantastic......what a great looking motor. Top choice of colours there, too.

I wasn't too sure about the Mk2 front end when I first saw it, but I'm getting seriously swayed now....maybe even to the point of saying I like it as much as the Mk1

Just picked my convertible up on Saturday, alas 400 miles later and my drivers window refused to go up. Apparently something to do with a sensor in the door, still thinking the door is open. Solution, sit in car, activate key fob, hey presto, window up. Mind you I would prefer to just push the window up button. Hopefully Castle's can sort it tomorrow, looking on the bright side, it gets me closer to the elusive 1000 mile service.

Scurry, I think the car could be a lemon - best send it back and get a refund. x
