Anyone de-catted their Tuscan?
I notice tvrcarparts.com sell pairs of Speed Six decat pipes for Tuscan for £150 - is that a good price? Would it improve the sound much, or would I be better of with Carbon Cans?

What about MOTing?

I had a De-Cat on my Tuscan after engine re-build. I have not experienced CC's but the Decat is plenty loud enough for me with added snap crackle and pop. You will notice overrun is much more fierce after a de-cat. As for MOT just make sure the engine is very warm before taking it in. Alternatively take it to the indie that decattted your pipes when it is MOT time.

Hell, why not do both?

I've got a de-cat and CCC's and it sounds LURVELY!!!

No problem with MOT's either....mine passed only a month back - straight through!

hmmm....both......

Need to go a bit easy on the finances for a month or two, and having seen the price of £150 for the pair of pipes was just wondering whether it was a worthy change. Next question then: Who is a good indy in the Yorkshire area these days? I have always taken my cars to HHC up until now.
