The fuel pump is in the tank, so would assume that this has some sort of suction strainer on it. The actual fuel filter is by the near side rear wheel.

Apparently it's the same take off as the cerbra. there is a big 2" nut which the petrol pipe feeds through. on the cerbra there is a filter fitted to the inside of this. on my T2 none apparently.

I had the fuel line replaced last month, since then I have had 2 fuel pumps fail due to getting blocked with debris from the tank.

I was told the tuscan doesn't have a filter (as above), although they have fitted one to mine now.

Call me cynical but the above is too big a coincidence. I suspect the filter was not re-fitted when the line was changed

the tuscan has the fuel pump on the n/srear chassis rail,it is not in the tank.the fuel filter is also located at the n/s rear wheel arch.the tank does have a filter.in the center of the boot floor u will find a big gromit, remove this and you will find a 22mm banjo bolt into the tank, remove this and then release the 52mm sealing nut for the tank,if you remove this you will find the filter attached to the tank side of the nut.oh make sure there is no fuel in the tank or your gonna get covered in fuel.oh and no smoking
