Take a look at my motor. Nice colour, but it has crossed my mind to think, in not too distant future:

1. Metallic black exterior.
2. Wheels done in black.
3. Carpets retrimmed in black.
4. Keep the cream leather.

How does that sound?
Does anyone have any pics of a car with above colour combo?
Anyone you could recommend to do the work?

Thanks in advance, muchachos.

Personally I wouldn't change the colour. It looks nice. I can see that you are not adverse to spending cash.

The carpets will cost you around 800
The respray will cost you at least 3K. For what reason to go black? Why didnt you buy a black on in the first place?
You could get your existing spiders sprayed and re-finished for around 400.

Stick with what you have fella, the colour is nice and it looks tidy. Changing colours of cars is a very expensive business if you want it done properly. IMHOOC.

Cheers.

Never mind your job, you really need to see a Psychiatrist yourself!

Yes it would look great, but why buy a blue one to turn it black? sell yours and buy a black one! And save about £3 grand in the process.

Black wheels on a black car would look crap IMO

Thank you for the opinions and pricing, muchachos.

Was a case of the grass is greener, or at least blacker, on t'other side.
Actually, it was a lady who metntioned that it would look nice in black, and I had thought of black before so I guess the idea was reawakened.

I did consider a black one right in the beginning, but I couldn't find one that has been kept as meticulously as mine had, and IMHO I thought it better to get a better car underneath. It was the right decision and I do like the current colour.

Can't help being a litle frivolous. Being a bachelor (most of the time ) there is no woman to muddy the spending waters.

Will consider the colour overhaul maybe next year, if the engine doesn't eat itself in the meantime..

Thanks again. I see you guys don't overdo the diplomacy

I would see a psychiatrist but you can't trust those guys- they warp your mind!

Hi Syko

Stick with that combination. As you know i owned the car before you and still love evrything about it.

Just buying a Sagaris at the moment but will never forget the Pathfinder Blue Tuscan.

Hi Nick! So nice to hear from you.

You will be glad to know that the Trev is going from strength to strength. Welcome back to the crowd, and congrats on the Sag! Do post up some pics when you have her.

Hi Oz

Glad all is well with Trev, God i loved that car. In my opinion one of the best built and colour combinations i have seen.

Trying to buy the Sag on the link below, Finance man is working his magic as we speak so hopefully i will pick it up next week some time.

Not sure if i am allowed to post this link so i apologies if i have commited an offence. It is also advertised on Pistonheads but need the finance so need to get it from the dealer.

I am a bit worried that it won't light my fire the same way that my Tuscan that you have did as all i have are great memories. It seems a bit like Sex for the first time. I have had a lot better since but will never forget the first.

Sorry mate that doesn't mean to put down Trev because as i said before that car is a beauty.

If you ever come to sell it, let me have first refusal as i wouldn't mind storing her up for prosperity. By the way what is the mileage now.
