....What's so good, you say?

Well I've only owned the car for 20 months and never taken it out before

(Don't know why not - it's not exactly rocket science is it: the rocket science is all under the bonnet)

PS Crystal Topaz Pearlescent - definitively the fastest.....

Dave Batty ("The Garage" ). Not necessarily "super cheap" - nothing needed doing. I have to report that he's put his rates up now, but I wouldn't want to contemplate trusting anyone else. Been there just today to get the new battery, have a natter and pick up the latest tips and gossip....

Anyway just got in, five minutes ago. Roof and window still happily in boot. Yes it is a tragedy, but then I've kept back a piece of TVR-experience all this time - it's like a special occasion!

Edit: Oooo! I need to point out that the price of the oil wouldn't be included. Dave likes to use Castrol, I'm getting Mobil 1 from Costco at about £26 for 4 litres, so add about £40 for a bill excluding oil.

I don't know Getting the window out was the second thing I did with my Tuscan - after taking the roof off. You get to hear the popping and banging so much better.

I also find that if the roof is off and the window is in, it tends to act as a parachute slowing the car. Its also a bit noisier due to the buffetting.

Good to see that the window is now where it should be - in the boot !

Keep my back window out as much as possible.

Carn't stand the bloody squeaking noise it makes when its in
Have tried all sorts to stop it.
Velcro on the clips, silacone spray round the seal, talc on the seal, but it still seems to be trying to make more noise than the exhausts

Thanks for that CK. Its on the shopping list to get on saturday. I know its only a small issue, but it drives you mad listening to a constant squeak
