Hullo all - just transfered from the T350 forum to this one as my T350 has been replaced by a damn groovy Tuscan Mk2.
A few immediate niggles:
- Rear window squeeking
- Windscreen wiper speed adjuster seems to now spin 360 deg without stopping
- Keeps stalling when cold if you leave your foot off the accelerator
Any thoughts?

First off, a big welcome to Tuscanworld - you won't be looking back.
These issues come up fairly often so it's worth a search through this forum for in-depth answers.
1.Squeaking - haven't got this problem so can't help you there - although I've heard rumours of vasoline and velcro.
2.Wiper speed - mine does this too but it does work to control the speed. Does yours not work at all?
3.Warm-up - General consensus is to apply a little throttle for the first 30-40 secs after you've started the engine, keeping revs at about 900-1000rmp. This will generally bring the temp up (and the idle revs) enough to stop the engine stalling, then pull away.
Cold days make this worse. If your idle revs are always too low this can be adjusted but requires some involved under-the-hood noodling.

With regard to your rear screen squeeking,the dealers do have some tape they use to minimise the problem but if you go to Halfords they sell a silicone lubricant which can be sprayed on the rubber seal to prevent squeeking.It worked on my MarkII.

The sqeeky window saga continues...... I just got my Tuscan and the squeeking drove me nuts, 1 solution is to fit a damn fine sound system, the downside is you dont get to hear the exhausts !!!, I tried lots of different methods and this is the best by far.
Take a small tin, put a lump of standard vaseline in, add a small drop of oil, 3 in 1 household oil is best mix it best you can, then remove roof and rear window, with your finger gentle massage the mixture into all the rubbers (inc the small rubber pads on the underside of the boot lip). Make sure you do all the rubber including the roof rubber. Take your time and do it properly. Then clean the rear screen with glass cleaner, re-fit the rear screen and roof.
All squeeks gone !!, do this once a month. It is the best solution available, believe me I tried everything.

I thought the squeeking would give a few different solutions! But, if I put grease on won't it get all over the screen and my hand when I remove the screen on that one balmy summer day?

As for the wind screen delay knob - it seemed to turn about 180 degrees for half the day then later on it free wheeled. And its been that way since.

I think you'll find the ally wiper delay knob is a cap glued onto a plastic control knob (as are the volume, contrast and brightness knobs for the pod). It has probably come unstuck and is turning independently of the plastic knob it caps. I imagine you will easily be able to remove it, and stick it back with superglue.

Tis true. That's why vaseline should not be used to lubricate condoms. Just ask anyone who has alot of kids.
