I'm looking to spend around £25K and wondered if there was any big difference in depreciation between the 4.0 and the 4.0S also what sort of depreciation in value should I expect.

Thanks..

Similar depreciation whether you buy a 2003 bog standard Tuscan or a 2002 Tuscan S for your £25K. Allow for approximately 50% over three years plus maintenance, etc.

Yes not too dreadfully on a car of that age, its the new cars that are the killer, try £14.5K in 11 months! Although talking to a dealer last weekend, he felt that the price of SP6 engined cars had been hit through the factories less than clear possition, so you should get the benifit of that if you buy now, once the doom and gloom has passed prices will imho firm up maybe even rise a bit. Just make sure you get that engine full checked out, with Tuscans history is everything!

I lost about 12 to 13K on my last TVR tuscan in 14 months of ownership.

I have just bought another !!

Either "I am stupid" - Maybe
"I am rich" - no no no
or
" they are just great cars and worth it" - now that is possible

My advice is, if you are palnning a short term ownership - NO, you will loose to much. but if your looking to keep hold for a while, then its not so bad.

Still doing your best to drive down the prices of Tuscans I see.

Hi BigT,

Was going to e-mail you, but system says you don't accept e-mails.
Something for you to consider, if you would like to send me an e-mail to which I can reply.
