Hello all

New to the forum and TVR, but am now the proud owner of a 2002 S. I think I will need surgery to remove the grin. Is it normal to feel like a hooligan every time you get in it, even when driving it like a granny?

A few niggles I would like some advice on:

Drivers widow doesn't shut all the way when the door is closed.

Drivers door appears to leak around the leading edge.

A couple of times the speedo doesn't match the digital display.

Love the noise, can't wait to slip of early and go play.

Welcome Colin - some thoughts on your niggles;

Drivers door appears to leak around the leading edge - mine did this, and for the princely sum of £120, I had the seals replaced throughout the car which has rectified the issue.

A couple of times the speedo doesn't match the digital display. - mine also does this, but app 2mph difference. I rarely use the speedo now, relying either on the digital or, even more accurately, the Road Angel which always reads 2-3mph lower and is more accurate to boot.

Love the noise, can't wait to slip of early and go play. - Have you tried Carbon Cans or similar yet? If you love the noise now, wait until you try them....

Hehe... the grin never goes, but it helps delay signs of aging apparantly.

Just had exactly the same two problems on my S convertible fixed by TVR Power. The leaking was just some sealant around the rubber, which I could have done myself apparently, and the window was some simple electrical adjustment.

I had this, too, and there is a way of adjusting the neutral position of the speedo needle through your in-car programme. Slightly long-winded to explain on here, but if you e-mail me through my profile I'll send you some instructions (it's dead easy, though).

Welcome on board, Colin, and congratulations!
