Part of the Tuscan ownership "voyage of discovery", I guess. I'm on holiday, and have been sitting on the patio in front of my villa watching the changing pattern of flashes around the door opener on my alarmed car parked in front, wondering what they mean? They seem to alternately travel left-right, then flash right and left, then light all the way round, before reversing the pattern.
It occurred to me you can lock the car without setting the alarm easily if you leave the roof off, and lean in to press the centre locking button. The disadvantage is that the interior door opener still works (but it will not unlock the boot). (Also, I suppose, not much help if you don't want to leave the roof off.) I logged back-in intending to amend my earlier post, but realised that wiser people than I already replied!
I love my car, and am having a great time with it on holiday. I also love its idiosyncracies, such as the alarm, but can't really understand why someone would provide such a system, but not explain how it works!!
I, too, would be interested in learning how to work the system!
