Just got back from a superb 2006 Le Mans - glorious weather, race, great company and generally a quality time. Was excellent to see around a dozen different Tuscans, many with PH stickers on, all over Le Mans and the surrounding countryside. Car performed faultlessly over 1,000 miles, including an atrocious traffic jam of 1hr 30 mins (2 miles covered) outside Le Mans with temps 30c+ which really tested the cooling system to the max.

I was with a convoy of 3 others tivs, one Lancia and a 355 - and the Tuscan (esp the interior) attracted a phenomenal amount of attention, generally because people had no clue what it was and how it sounded. Highly recommend the trip to anyone - 2 yrs done now and already looking ahead to 2007!

I was there too - black S with red CCC cans and lots of noise!

I was staying outside the circuit, but was down by Mulsanne and Arnage on the Friday and saw a fair few Tuscans on the way back yesterday. The car behaved perfectly too

I was there as usual this year, but broke a holiday in the Pyrenees to attend. The car was fine until I got back to our holiday villa, last night, having covered well over 1,000 miles in a week. A tornado buried it under a load of bl***y tree branches, including through the windscreen, during a tremendous electric storm over night, and it is now quite poorly. I have full European insurance and breakdown cover, and the car has been trailered away; I'm just waiting for the insurers to confirm they won't try and repair it here, but take it back to my UK dealer, and provide me with transport home!

On the (sort of) bright side, it must be pretty tough. A hell of a weight of wood had fallen on the car but, once it was cleared (with the help of a chain-saw) the bodywork damage didn't seem as severe as I expected. However, as you can imagine, I am gutted; apart from the windscreen, damaged wing, smashed door mirrors and, I suppose, other damage that was not immediately apparent, it was full of water and glass!

Just got back from the Le Mans trip. We had a great time and will be there again next year. Headed South after the race and then picked our way back to Boulogne. The Tuscan certainly turned heads. All in all we covered over 2000 miles and the car never missed a beat. It just neads a bloody good wash inside and out!

Pete - were you out and about on a drive on the Thursday by chance as I distinctly remember a Tuscan with your livery out and about with some other, well stickered, motors North East of Le Mans in the early pm?

Hey, my first "spotted"

Yes, we were en route from Gace to Le Mans on Thursday afternoon, on a fab back-road route which conveniently ends at the Leclerc supermarket. We had a striped-up convoy of Tuscan, Cerbera (the infamous BAD 5H1T), 500bhp Supra, 911SC, and a BMW compact to carry the beer.

Quality effort! I do indeed remember the "Bad S**t" cerbera - is it decatted by chance?. We were stopping off in our little convoy for lunch - from which I then gained a nasty bout of food poisoning,

We were there, first timers, and haven't stop talking about the experience since we got back. Just a shame we didn't get spotted by anyone. I will remember to try harder with the stickers next time
