Well with the Z06 here now I took someone out for a test ride in the Tuscan last night and he seemed to like it, and so he should - it felt better than ever! Revvy, really grippy, direct - everything I've loved about it. But I hadn't been driving it hard for quite a while so doing test drives has been a (re-)revelation!
What that means, of course, is that I'm going to be REALLY sad to see it go now and, frankly, I wish I was still going out with the girl I was last year because I could've kept it and let her drive it, and she'd have driven it properly. Oh well...
Icing on the cake was on the way back home when, stopped at some lights where there were four lanes, I saw a sportsbike approaching from behind in the adjacent lane. He revved, I revved, the lights changed, off we went... and after a brief neck-and-neck the Tuscan beat him! OK, so he was probably scared of what might happen when we reached the corner so may not have been going all out, but it sure felt good.
You've been a wonderful Tuscan and I will miss you when you go.
Really must stop getting emotional about cars...
