Guys, hi,

just came back from a weeks hols, first thing was to go for a blat, immobiliser not kicking in when operated from fob. Changed battery, still no go.

It would indicate the alarm has activated but car was in garage, locked, with acumate and car cover on, and no signs of break in etc. Also wife`s car pulled right up in front of garage to prevent access.

Can u advise. There is an attachment on the key fob, for the alarm, I just do not know where to stick it, scuse the pun.

Hi,

just been advised it could be battery, although acumate was fitted. Reading on LCD at 13.7, is this too low too start ?

The imobliser key goes in the slot between radio and pod.

Battery volts seem OK at 13.7 normally they are a bit lower than this. It could also be you key fob battery that is flat, might be worth trying your spare if you have one.

There's an immobiliser disarm in between the stereo and steering wheel at the bottom where the shelf is, bit tricky to use.

Top tip - dont wash the keys in the washing machine coz they will never work again.

Thanks guys, contacted dealer, and he told me about alarm, but eventually found it under steering wheel. Charged battery, sorted alarm, all seems ok.

Took it for a blat, all is rosy again in Tusc world

Only on my return to have the drivers side window not operate when opening, it does not operate through the first phase of opening,

Oh, I love TVR`s
