Returned earlier today from a drive on dry roads to discover my passenger footwell is very damp (enough to wet my passenger's shoes). Any thoughts?

if it was not raining ...maybe your passenger is old,if not water gets in everywhere my tusc did the same in the wet, after lifting the carpets it looked like it was coming in by the door at a badly fitted door seal after refitting all is well and dry.

But the roads were dry and the car lives in a garage, so I'm not sure how the water would have got in to start with...

leak from a-posts or rear screen, water eventually getting into footwell and then has no where to go, so will be damp for ages unless dried out. Sit in the car and get someone to gently hose water on the a-post(guarateed leak) or rear screen(probably leak) could also be bottom of door seal as other poster said. I've not heard of leaks through the firewall on the tuscan on the passenger side, but of course highly likely as it is a TVR.
