I read a thread a short while ago on detailing a Tuscan. With all good intentions I had intended to detail mine. Then by chance during a lunch break I looked up detailers on the web and came across a guy called Paul. I gave him a call had a chat and fixed a date to come and detail my Reflex Charcoal Tuscan. I have to admit I was more than a little skeptical about the fantastic results claimed I would see on my car when it was finished. On the day Paul arrived at 8.30 we had a chat and then I left him to it. Paul finished around 5pm and had long gone by the time I returned home. I went strait to the garage to see what I had spent my money on, I lifted the door the sun shone straight onto the paintwork I was stunned by the colour you could not fail to see the depth and luster and richness of the colour it was amazing. I spent the next 20 minutes just looking at it. The feel of the paint was smooth like silk. I had always thought that my paint work looked good that was until now. The change in appearance is fantastic it never looked like this even when it came out of the show room from new. The leather inside was all treated at the same time and is now soft and smooth and smells great. All the way through the process Paul takes photos before during and after which are really useful. The most important thing Paul fixed in my paint work was the removal off the swirl marks in the paint.
Paul is a perfectionist and really takes his time over every part of the detailing. It’s not cheep but when you see the result and how easy it is to wash and clean after the Zymol detailing it’s worth it. Fantastic. Not many things are actually as good as they claim to be but in this case Paul and his craft have transformed my paintwork it’s an amazing process. I hope I'm not out of order by putting Paul’s web site in this text but I think quality service should get a mention Take a look at. www.miracledetail.co.uk

The prices vary depending on the type of treatment you require and off course the time he spends doing it. The price ranges from £200 to £600. As I said it's not cheep but the difference is outstanding. Several people have now seen my car since Paul has completed the detailing and they have all been impressed with the outcome.

Had my reflex charcoal Tuscan detailed last week by sportscar protection using the zymol process and like you was very pleased with the result, makes getting the fly splats off much easier as well.
Had been quite dissapointed with the paintwork from new and was thinking about changing but the detailing has produced the colour and finish I always wanted.

Hi Kev
I agree about the colour. On occasions in the past I have seen a dull lifeless form of the colour on my car. Since detailing the Tuscan I can now appreciate the true colour of the Reflex Charcoal no matter what light conditions you view it in. Just need to keep it looking like it does today
Cheers Dave

How much? £600! Ouch!
It's just wax. It melts in the sun and it washes off in the rain and when you wash the car. How many weeks until your £600 has literally run down the drain. I'd give it 6 weeks at best. £100 per week on waxing?
You spend £600 on waxing and tomorrow it rains. The car gets dirty, who will even know?
Polish it twice a year with something synthetic that has a better chance of staying on than a wax and then use a cheap, spray, instant, wax each week, that only takes 15 minutes to apply and keeps it looking shiny.

Dont know about miracle deatail but with Sportscar protection you are left with a maintenance pack which has a cleaner/wash that doesnt strip the wax and a top up wax to use once a month to keep the protection and shine at their best, and if your are spending £40k to £60k on your pride and joy then £500 is a small amount to have it looking fantastic.

You mentioned the 'swirling' was removed.....I am pretty/very fussy about the paint finish on my car....infact my wife thinks there is something wrong with me!!.......I gather the technical term for this is ' webbing '.....Can you confirm that these small scratches are completely removed by the process? My car is VW Reflex Silver....a more forgiving colour than darker colours....tks in advance for any advice
Hi
Sorry for not answering you sooner been away
Yes I can confirm the swirling' was completely removed. I could not believe the difference I also take care of my body work my colour is reflex charcoal and it does show marks I have just finished a 2K round trip to Switzerland going over in torrential rain bright sun while we were over there and driving rain on the whole journey back I washed the car while we were away and the colour and luster was right there it does not wash off easily if its done correctly I’m back in the uk and have given the car a wash and again the shine and luster is still there are some pictures of my car on the miracle web site in my view the prep and finish was well worth the money and a good starting point to maintain the bodywork. He will also tell you a few useful tips on washing and cleaning the car and it does make a difference
Good luck
