wobbly drivers window

Driving back from London on Saturday, nice warm day i thought i'll have the windows down. Went to open the drivers door and after a bit of grinding it came to a shuddering halt. I got back home and the window is completely loose. It has probably come off it's fixings so the question is, will it be easy for me to fix and if so how do i get the inside of the door of to get to it. Cheers Saul

There are 3 allen bolts in the bottom of the door pocket. Remove these and then ease the bottom edge of the trim panel out and slide it down from behind the alloy trim at the top. The mechanism inside is pretty basic and you should be able to figure out what's wrong.

Three on mine, although the one under the mirror control panel is a real sod to get to.

Yep, got three on mine, i took it off the other night and the window had 'slipped' out of the fixings. It looks as though it's happened before as some of the allen bolts on the fixings have been worn so couldn't get a good turn on them. looks like i'll be doing this a few times before i get some new ones.
