advise on tuscans "please"

start by saying sorry as its one of those threads, i have a lotus esprit gt3 so i have defected to this section lol, and im thinking of selling it to get a tuscan, (so if anyone fancies a low mileage one off esprit pm me).
just a few question really, thought i would ask real ppl that own them and not listen to hearsay (we get that alot with lotus)
1. do they really do 28mpg when your light on the throttle
2. do all speed six engines just die? and if so how much would it cost to put right IF you had access to a totally labour free garage, so trade parts only
3. any advice on what to look for engine wise (have you noticed yet its the engine im worried about)
4. is 170-180mph a true figure (want it to be alot faster than mine really)
5. do they like to be used everyday or can it be a weekend car (lotus likes to be used thats all)
