OK so I've had my pre-loved Tuscan for a month, I'm still struggling when it comes to stowing the roof in the boot. It takes ages of jiggling and it catches on the rubber boot seal and is a general ass to get in. Getting it out isn't much better. Are there any tricks to ease the pain?

Julian, in Short, not really!

I find with mine if I lower the right hand corner in first then it just slips in like a treat but I imagine that each one is slightly different.

Good luck

Maybe....your roof catches are too prominent ?

The roof in the boot can sit on the catches (the hoops the roof pins go through) if they are adjusted high enough. It also makes the roof insertion at the rear screen end tricky if not impossible. If you think it's this you can loosen them with an allen key. All you need to do then is adjust them with the roof in place to work out the best compromise between clamping the roof down vertically and getting the thing in the boot.

Cheers,

Andy.

I found it better if you cut an inch off each side and rub the edges down with some sand paper, dont really look all that but its a lot quicker.

The guys that designed it must have been very metrical.
