Does anyone have any experience with Dreadnought servicing TVR's.
Mark's out of 10 would be appreciated.

Thanks

No I don't but if they service TVRs with as much skill and enthusiasm as they put into racing the MG ZT560 at various circuits around the UK, then they will be brilliant.

They have a little middle aged grey haired Scottish mechanic chap at the circuits who seems to know more than most mechanics have forgotten.

Maybe not a huge amount of help, but a short thread on Scottish TVR indies.

I 've used them and can't say a bad word about them.
Very knowlageable familly owned busness and will do everything they can to fix solve any problems.
Out of ten I'd give them 9.

I have had some work done by Dreadnought over the years, first on my Chimaera and more recently on my Tuscan. They are very helpful - Brian the owner(the little Italian man that someone refered to previously) in particular will happily discuss / provide advice on cars for hours and his daughter Claire who I believe is the head mechanic is also very helpful.

I would also suggest it depends on the model and age of car you have - if it is a more recent model then as they are factory approved they can possibly get bits etc more easily from the factory than the likes of Noel at V8 (although to be honest they still seem to struggle to get things you would imagine should be off the shelf - this is probably more a fault of the factory). If you have a Griff / Chim / Cerb or earlier model then I would suggest Noel at V8 is as good a bet and it depends on where you are based.

A couple of the things they have done over the years I have thought they could have done better (like zip tieing oil cooling pipes to the chassis resulting in paint being chaffed off and possible wear to hose) , but I could probably say that about most garages.

At the end of the day, they do know the cars very well so would suggest giving them a try.
