Need to get the Tuscan MOT'd in 3 weeks time. Can anyone suggest an MOT station in Scotland who are TVR friendly? I'm based in Edinburgh but prepared to travel.

The main reason I ask is that 1) The CCC's are so loud - they might be over the legal allowance (therefore a TVR MOT specialist might be a bit more easy going on her)
and 2) I would not like to leave the car in the hands of a mechanic who has little knowledge of the beast not the care and duty.

Hope you can help

There is a Garage at Doune I can't at the moment remember there name but if you drive from Stirling to callender its on the left hand side beside petrol station, before the bridge. Go to the far right hand side of the building and there is a small reception desk.

The guy who will do the MOT used to work at Dreadnaught in Callender and is very familiar with all TVRs.

I'll try and get phone number 4U.

That sounds ideal - did you by chance have a silver blue Tuscan with the George number plate - saw it in Edinburgh a couple of months back. Thought mine had been stolen for a split second!

Yes that was me.. Unfortunatley I sold it a few weeks back because I have got 11 points on my Licence..Gutted as it was a really good car, but the Police(or should I say Tax men) have burdened me with 11 points....So I have banked the cash and Im counting the days until I lose some points then I'll be back in the saddle...Saw a red Tuscan 2 in Edinburgh today looked nice number was FH something.

Think I might have spied it on the cowgate a few times this week.
