Indicator stalk

When I indicate left, the indicator stalk refuses to lock in the down position. Anyone else experienced this? Is a new switch required? If so, is it a TVR part or one I can pick up elsewhere? Furthermore, is it easy enough to replace?

I think it is a Vauxhall part (Cavalier ?) - also used in the Elise - with the plastic stalk chopped off and replaced with the alloy bit.

Check it's nothing silly like the bezel / surround physically fouling the stalk.

I had this - a quick re-alignment and Bob's your Uncle!
