black with red stripe wire

Have black with red stripe wire at front of car leading to nowhere! Can't figure out whats not working?

Any ideas?


British wiring suggests "electronic speedometer to sensor" but thats at the rear of the car?!

Possibly the antenna wire for the alarm? Not sure about the Tuscan, but my old Griff had one of these lurking around under the headlamp pod.
