Sunday - you must be mad! I live in the heart of the lakes and the Tuscan rarely comes out on this particular day cos there are so many idiots on the road.
Examples of which are people actually stopping their car and caravan in the middle of the road just after a blind corner because they wanted to consult a map. Luckily enough I was on a motorbike and managed to squeeze past them and between an oncoming car. No I wasn't going fast and no I couldn't have stopped in time unless I was doing 10 mph. In the Tuscan it would have been very expensive and noisy!
Another particularly good one is being caught in a tailback because somebody at the front of the queue has actually stopped to take a few photographs!
Finally the joy of cruising down a twisty road that can easily take two cars only to meet a 56 seater touring bus who can only travel down the centre of the road, even around corners - nuff said - v.scary.
Sorry for the rant but I follow/meet these people every day and cringe at some of their driving etiquette. Am seriously thinking of getting a video camera hooked up in the front constantly filming then making a fortune by selling it to a TV station - but on one condition that the number plates are not blacked out so they know who they are.
Apart from all that yeah it would be good to meet up - but not on a Sunday!

My Tuscan was in Cumbria yesterday. A quick blast across the A66 from Scotch Corner to Penrith and Cockermouth to collect some purchases from the auction rooms and then back via Brough and Swaledale with the top off.
The weather was fantastic until I got to Keswick and cheered up again when I passed it on the way back. I go to Cockermouth regularly and the weather is always s*it. I've come to the conclusion that it's the place where the sun really don't shine.
