I had 4 new Goodyear Eagle F1s fitted to my car in December. Unfortunately my n/s rear ate a nail which is still embedded it it!

I tried to get some replacements only to find that Goodyear only now make a variant of this tyre called a GDS3. All of mine were GDS2. The tread pattern is very different and Goodyear are insistant that the tyres can not be mixed whatsoever.

Now can I find a GDS2 tyre anywhere? Can I f***!

Does anybody know where I might be able to source one?

Thanks.

Give Total Tyre & Exhaust a try on 01344 450586. They are a fitter & distribution centre and are usually well stocked on all tyres. Alternatively try Bracknell Tyres or Micheldever Tyres.

This may assist?

GSD2 F1s are still around as my Porsche specialist managed to get me a new rear one in January. Have you e-mailed Goodyear direct? They were very helpful once when I couldn't source the correct size anywhere, and shipped me one in from Germany. I think Hi-Q are owned by Goodyear so may be worth a try.

Cheers.
