Hey all, the drivers door was sticking so I followed a couple of the posts on here as it seems a common problem, i started with one thread that recommended taking of the chrome mechanism guard and adjusting the position of the lock by undoing the 2 allen bolts - prob is i removed the bolts...now they won't go back in - it seems that the bolts do not go into a fixed nut...have i ballsed it up so much that i need to remove the interior behind the door to get to the back of it?? any ideas??

moron insults are welcomed

Must say I took the bolts out of mine and they relocated with out a problem. I have also taken off the inner panel to gain access to the rear of the door latch (wanted to see how the release mechanism works). The panel is dead easy to get off, but its not that easy to get fingers inside to fiddle around with the back of the latch mechanism.

Removing the rear panel is easy its just one screw close to the floor. Then pull away the door seal, pull the wires off the back of the speaker and remove the panel. I would recommend removing the drivers seat first off, as this will make access so much easier.

Good luck
