All Tuscaneers

I have just seen the TVRCC calendar, with the " Griff Growl" " Chimfest" "Big Bad Wedge Fest" etc etcrolleyes

There is no mention of a Tuscan event !!!eek

Lets face it there must be quite a few of us, and a whole lot of Tuscans in one place would be pretty cool !!!bouncebounce

Just thought I would post a heads upwavey, to see what so of intrest we would get.scratchchin

Idea of names for the event would be good too..

Turbulent Tuscans

The Tuscan Tussle

The Big Tuscan Tornado

Tremendous Tuscan Tremor 2007

The Great Tuscan Treat

Totally Tuscan 2007

Should we have a Tuscan national meet ??? or is there one already sorted if so when?

Nick

I'd be up for that. Held in a central location I think there would be a good attandance. I like the TOTALLY TUSCAN name. Would be good if a few early Tuscans could be there as well as the sp6 Tuscans. I'm not organising it though.

Yep - Early Tuscans as well would be great - I have only ever seen one in the flesh.

Organising - Hmmmmm. I could have a go, but a bit of help would be appreciated from Guys like you who have done it before (and maybe from TVRcc regional guys.

Central Location would be best off course !! any suggestions !!!

I was there. It was called Tuscaneers and was a lot of fun. The day got off to a bad start however when the organiser blew his clutch before the start line and we never saw him. We do all love Tuscans dont we??

Anyhow, i'd be well up for it. Roll on TUSCANEERS 2007.........

Why not have the first one at Rockingham at the Car Club 3 day event in April. That way you could all have a go at the track day on the Friday, have a go at the Sprint on the Saturday and then watch the Tuscan Challenge cars racing in their double header event on the Sunday.

A three day event for the first ever Tuscan Tussle...

Excellent!

I was asking the TVRCC committee about this last Sept and nearly got lumbered with organising one confused but couldnt find a suitable location as I'm on the south coast...but I was gonna include all Speed Sixes, and call it the "Speed Six Showdown"!? Anyone wanna take this on!? I was liking the idea of holding it between Olton Park and the Welsh roads somewhere near Wrexham or somewhere?

When the 07 calendar was being put together there was mention of a National Speed 6 meeting. If there's a TVRCC member willing to do the leg work I'm sure something can be arranged. The CC calendar is very full but rightly we should cater for all members and therefore all TVR models.

That was me, tvrbob. I suggested the 3rd weekend in May as a date? I havent got really much experience in attendance of "tvr single make meets" but have some ideas and can help if somebody knows a venue they would be happy to check out and organise.
I went thru 6 venues but all of them were a no goer as the TVRCC budget/entrance fees could not make any of them feasible for me to want to carrry them on.
I also backed out of looking any further as I am busy with organising stuff for my own region.

I suppose a post could be put in TVR General - to see what the intrest would be in a speed six meet, if Tuscans alone are not going to generate enough interest.

I don't mind being one of the organising team (TVRCC teamwork maybe)

I'd certainly be up for this, and can do a bit of the organising

I've done a few meets before but I imagine this could potentially be a bit of a large one! Game on!

Totally Tuscan, I like that. Not to far south please especially if the Typhon is coming from north of the border. What a motor, fantastic.
