My Tusc S has finally given up the ghost. No compression, plenty of smoke and a loud tapping noice as I pulled off the M1 after a long burn on Sunday. B*ll*x! I fancy taking in to Austec but I was told they charge a hefty up front fee (£2k+). Is this normal? Do others do the same?

You could try TVRCraft as well. Nothing to pay upfront, pay when you collect it.

Also give Dave or Colin a phone at AutoMedon.

That goes the same for TVR Power too, I got mine done in 10 days last August! Full rebuild!

Not had a build myself - but would second the use of Automedon - great Service (they are of course former TVR staff)
