I am with Tesco's but there are lots of options out there. Do a search or check back on (not so distant) threads on here - there is often a discussion taking place about insurance premiums etc, etc.

I always found Mannings very good - 01491 578759 - been with them through Griff, Tuscan and Tuscn MkII S.

I found 'A' Plan to be the cheapest eventually.
Only bought the tuscan in december. Tried 'A' Plan first and then used it as a bench mark to try loads of others for quotes. Then went back to 'A' Plan and they beat the best.

Just going through the exercise myself for renewal 1 Feb.
APlan cheapest for 6000 miles limitation (asked for 3K but same cost) and £250 excess. No track days.
Mannings were £40 higher with 3000 miles and £550 excess. Track days covered with £750 excess.
Sunninghill (renewal for me) was £110 higher than A Plan with 3000 miles..
Tesco similar to Sunninghill.

Only other difference between APlan and Mannings was windscreen cover. £50 and £60 excess respectively but with Mannings, you can take car to TVR dealer.....APlan use Autoglass or someone similar.

Not really interested in trackdays so will probably go with APlan.

Any further thoughts out there?

Cheapest does not equal best. Try claiming and find out!

Buy what you want from the policy - track day cover or not, hire car or not, etc.

I have always found Mannings to be good, but that's becasuse they suit my needs.

Richard...agree your observation re claims. Hence my post asking for observations.
Has anyone experienced a claim with A Plan? Believe policy is with Group Armer (spelling?)
Mannings policy is with Allianz/Cornhill so no problems there I guess.
