Hi there,
I am looking for a tuscan upto 20k. Found one at Racing Green TVR. it is a 2001 Y reg, with 19850 miles. Had new clutch 300m ago, full 12000 equivelant service at 18,200minc valve clearances etc.
It hasnt had the engine rebuild that everyone seems to mention.
Basically, has anyone got any experience with Racing Green? (the guy is really helpful and even said i can call the previous owner)
Should i get a warranty inc with the price?
Should i wait for one that has the engine work done?
Any info would be great.
Cheers

In my opinion, if you are looking at a 2000/2001 model, go for one with a recent rebuild, unless you get a bargain and have a spare £6k slush fund for a rebuild later....

I know there are lots of fellow Tuscan owners who haven't needed a rebuild but there are loads of other postings on here which say that 2000 / 2001 models are the ones most at risk to rebuilds.

Good Luck!
