Mk 2 light conversion !!!

Hi, I am contemplating a conversion on my Mk2 S to something similar to the Mk1 set up. From day one the look of the Mk2 lights has always been a "hmm not too sure" issue. I enquired last year but was advised that by doing a conversion I would kill its 2nd hand value.
Recent events seem to have taken care of that now anyway.
As I intend to keep the car I am not sure this still applies. Many of the earlier models have changed their lights to not discernible detriment on their residuals.
Is there anyone here who can maybe photoshop a Mk1/440 light cluster onto the front of the Mk 2 S just to see if it works asthetically with the splitter which I love.

NewLunn are doing the work. They are hooked up with TVR Power so must be generally respected. Their website has various conversion opportunities although not the one you are thinking about.

I personally wouldn't touch it, i actually prefer the mk 2 lights with the covers etc. As a half-way-house option, you could remove the covers and have the recesses painted to match the body, leaving the indicators low level. It may look pants, but at least you could undo cheaply.

Get thee behind me Satan, wow I think it looks superb. Enquiries will be made. If I go for it I will probably wait till after the summer as I dont want the car off the road during best part of the year. I expect it will take a while to do. Any recommendations on who may be best to use.?

Newlunn in Towcester/Northampton did mine for me as part of a complete paint job and some other bits n pieces. They are TVR Powers paint partners and usually have an interesting collection of cars in the yard. I have seen their adverts on Pistonheads.
The actual job for a complete respray and the body work changes was originally quoted as about 3 weeks but add the insurance company taking 3 weeks to authorise the job and a couple of additional complications.....and me being away for a week right at the end, it took considerably longer. Well worth the wait though, I think you'll agree !
Bit of trouble with the front number plate though..........(it seems to fold backwards when it's really windy 
can't think how that might be happening......... 
)
The colour is Reflex Charcoal but it has an extra red tint in it which makes it change through green, purple, brown, red and even a sort of bronze in the right light.
