Gas disharge on a MK2
Discussion
Hi Jimmy
Dont know of anywhere to get the conversion done but if you are at all happy with a screw driver and spanner they are fairly easy to do yourself.
Needs 2 people to remove and replace the bonnet, but the rest is fairly simple.I found it easier to remove the wheels and the small access panel behind the dip beam fitting as the space is very tight from within the bonnet.
www.turborevs.co.uk do the conversion kit for the H7 headlights we have.
There is another thread on the following page which details the conversion on a MK1 in more detail.
Whether you do it yourself or get it done for you it is a vast improvement over the standard light.
