WHICH OIL IS BEST?

Having finally bought a TVR Tuscan i was wondering which is the best oil for the car for reducing wear on the engine, the car is currently on mobil 1, is that ok?

I have always been told by TVR Power to use 10/40 Semi and I always do what TVR Power tells me

I am afraid this is a real hornets nest, in my 5 tvrs i have been told to use this oil or that oil, ranging from 10/40 semi to mobil 1, most people with tuscans use 10/40 mobil racing oil. Hope this helps, if confused just do a search for OIL.
