This was at the Austec day at Santa Pod last April.
The best time I managed was 12.5s @ 119mph.
The day was absolutely freezing with a strong icy wind blowing directly down the strip, and the tarmac was cold and not at all grippy. I didn't get a decent launch all day.
I reckon with better conditions and a bit more practice it would be possible to get down in the 11's.
It mostly comes down to technique, as some of the faster Cerbs on the day looked like they were hardly trying off the line, but being gradual with the throttle until moving before nailing it.
It really is not as easy as you'd think!
The highlight of the day for me was being absolutely blown away by 1000ish BHP's worth of Toyota Supra - and that was before he'd even switched the nitrous on!!!
Here's hoping Austec arrange one this year.
