The psi on my 3.6 Tuscan is about 20 at idle and about 70 at revs. Will try more scientific measurements this weekend. Just wanted to know if I should be concerned about these readings as they seem higher than many of the readings I've seen quoted on various threads.

Also thought this!

When cold mine is about 65-70 psi at about 1500 revs. No sure at idle as I never let it idle from cold!!!

When fully warmed up at idle she is about 17-20 psi at about 900 revs......however no matter how high I go through the revs when warmed up I never get a PSI higher than around 55psi.....

Its usually about 45 psi at arond 2500 - 3000 revs though wich is what the handbook says I think! (When fully warmed up)

I have come to the conclusion from reading different threads that they are all different!!! I have read other threads where people's Tuscans when warm and idle are 9psi also!

for the record, mine runs almost identical to Mark's. Had a service recently and now (with more oil, I guess) am getting to 60psi.

May well be down to the oil pressure sensor than anything else. I had a small leak in the sensor unit (a few drips/day) and after I got it sorted at the last service, my pressure went from 18/50 max/min to 9/70 with no other changes....

The pressure sensors or very poor the only way to check your pressure is to connect up a proper hydraulic gauge to the system, the range from 10 to 80psi is about wright.
